Tactical turrets

Tactical turrets have larger knobs and a visually different elevation height display with bands of yellow and silver.
Tactical scopes also have a 'zero stop' facility which allow you to set the lowest elevation setting that you wish. In practice the zero stop is a left hand thread that wind up to contact the turret cap after you have set your desired lowest setting. Nip up the lock screws on the zero stop. This can be a starting point for calibration and you can return to this 'zero set' position even by feel.
